Carol will be teaching a one day workshop for writing the ten-minute play at Murder on the Beach Bookstore in Delray Beach, on Saturday, September 24, 2016 from 10am-12noon.

Writing the Ten-Minute Play for Production.  Short play festivals continue to be popular with theatre goers. Workshop includes written information on formatting, submission guidelines, themes, and much more. $25 per person. Instructor: Carol White

All workshops are held at Murder on the Beach Bookstore, 273 NE 2nd Avenue, Delray Beach, from 10am to Noon.  All instructors are multi-published authors. Charge for each workshop is $25 per person.  Please pay at the door.  Cash, check or credit cards accepted.


On January 26, 2016 Carol will discuss her award winning novel, From One Place to Another, at a Literary Luncheon at the Glen Eagles Country Club in Delray Beach.

On March 14, 2016, Carol will be the speaker at the Delray Beach Women’s Club Book Club.

Two of Carol’s books, From One Place to Another and Sitting Pretty, were recently added to the Boston Public Library in their Women’s National Book Association division.

The Women’s National Book Association www.wnba-books.com has created a branch in South Florida, based in the Boca Raton/Delray Beach/Boynton Beach area. Two of Carol’s plays will be produced by La Strada Ensemble in New Jersey and Manhattan, and directed by Thomas Ryan Ward. “Any Minute Now” is a prison drama with a twist, and “Speed Date” reveals how a single woman reinvents herself in one evening.

As part of the South Florida Theatre League’s Summer Reading Series, Carol White’s full-length play, “Text M for Murder” will be produced by Primal Forces Productions on Monday, June 22, 2015 at 7:30 pm at the Bailey Contemporary Arts Center in Pompano Beach.   Directed by Genie Croft.   (photo with Genie Croft)

One of Carol’s short plays, “A Perfect Stranger” is a finalist in the Cashiers Playgroup in N. C.

Carol White’s play, “A Perfect Stranger” is part of the line-up of “Thirteen is Murder.” ( Barbara Fox  Productions) Mystery on the Menu at Empire Stage, Fort Lauderdale, for a series of short plays based on the number Thirteen.  July 13, 2015 – 7:00 p.m.
